Room rate excessive especially compared to my first stay there only 7 months ago in January 2024. Paint peeling from walls in places. Not a single extra blanket. Shoddy. This was my 3rd stay since January but I won't be back.

We'e stayed at this hotel several times when we participate in Fine Crafts Fair that takes place in nearby Highland Park in late August. The hotel has an excellent location for our show and an added bonus is its location within walking distance of the Chicago Botanical Garden which we visit every time we stay there. There are many restaurants of all types within a short distance of the hotel. Our room was quite comfortable and well equipped.
