Hotel is located on the Promenade at Havre Des Pas, literally 12 feet from the sea at high tide. Wonderful sea views from many bedrooms and our Dockyard restaurant has al fresco tables on the Promenade.Hotel is on a main bus route and the capital of Jersey, St Helier is just a 10 minute walk away.Jersey is part of the United Kingdom, but is self governing and has its own currency, which is of equal value to sterling. Jersey is a small island (9 miles X 5 miles) situated in the Bay of St Malo and just 9 miles from the coast of France which can be seen on a clear day. It has a long and wonderful history associated with both France and the UK, and has 2 medieval castles, and many relics from its occupation for 5 years by the Germans during the second world war.Jersey is also reknowned for its many clean beaches, great food and seafood (it has 3 Michelin Star restaurants), the very pretty Jersey Cow, and its Jersey Royal potato. It is also home to the Jersey Zoo, set up by the late Gerald Durrell to protect and breed endangered species from thoughout the world.
