Solar and wind energy are harnessed to augment the limited power supply in the Sabang community. In due time, the resort will run as a 100% environmentally sustainable property.
The resort takes pride in its innovative approach to conserving water. Rainwater is captured and harvested through a filtration system and put to good use in toilets and showers. A Sewage Treatment Plant also makes sure that waste water is reused for landscape irrigation.
Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa owns and operates the biggest organic farm in Palawan with 80% of its food requirements coming from the farm.
Located in one of the most beautiful protected areas in Palawan, the resort has made a conscientious decision to limit its water sports activities in order to safeguard the habitat of local species.
Commitment to environment conservation is a major issue that motivates the resort in seeking out more environment sensitive and friendly projects. It is an ongoing program that Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa wholeheartedly supports.
