Our beautiful 4-star hotel, with its open café-style Bar - Restaurant “Pura Vida”, is located in the midst of its own 12-hectare grounds, very close to the unique “Marino Ballena” Marine National Park and mountains covered in rainforest.The hotel is located at Costa Ballena, at the South Pacific area of Costa Rica.This currently strong developing area is 15.5 miles south of Dominical and 4 miles south of Uvita. It is about 185 km from San Jose and 30 minutes from the Palmar Sur Airport.Hotel**** Resort & Spa Cristal Ballena is situated in a grand scale of 12 hectare (30-acre) private tropical garden, embedded on a hill between the Pacific Ocean and rainforest-covered mountains.This unique position allows breathtaking ocean views while a cooling breeze is coming from the mountains. Especially the daily sunsets are occasions in your life you will never forget.The entire resort is built in a very generous way with lots of green areas. All buildings are designed in elegant Mediterranean style and it has 18 Suites, from which 15 are Junior Suites, 2 are Master Suites and 1 is a Family Suite all equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, telephone for local and international calls, coffee maker, satellite TV, hot shower, hair dryer, fan and safe. We also provide our guests with Front Desk Tours, WiFi, games room, reading room, gardens, fitness trail, rainforest trail, transfer to the beach, swimming pool, our Spa "Cristal" and a conference room which can accommodate 100 persons for your special events. We also can arrange your wedding here at our Pavilion with ocean view.
