Local Shuttle Info: The best way to get around the island of Paros is by bus. There are frequent bus connections around the island. There are buses between the two main villages of Paros, Parikia and Naoussa approximately every hour, even during low season from 8 am until midnight. For the rest of the routes there are new timetables almost every week so make sure you check out the new time table posted on the station before you travel. There are two more routes from Parikia, one towards the south to Aliki or Pounda and one towards the southeast to the beautiful beaches of Piso Livadi, Chrissi Akti and Drios. You can also reach some of the beaches by boat. For those who wish to explore the island on their own pace, cars, motorbikes and bicycles are available for rental in the major towns of Parikia and Naoussa. Taxi is also available for the travellers’ further convenience.
