It is just 5 km from Weeze/Niederrhein Airport.Schloss Hertefeld Castle is the only inhabited castle ruin in Germany. It offers imaginatively furnished rooms, apartments and suites. All rooms feature extra-long beds and private bathrooms. 6 rooms are located around the castle itself, 18 rooms in the Guesthouse "Hertefeldhof" on the premises.A varied breakfast is served in the Hertefeld's historic vault each day. In warm weather, guests can also enjoy breakfast outside in the castle gardens under the trees.The hotel offers rental bicycles for exploring the Lower Rhine countryside.
