Excellent customer service! The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and every staff member we encountered was friendly. Our server at the Albion Room was very professional and attentive and our dinner was excellent! Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was so close to everything that we wanted to do. Would stay here again!

Novotel Ottawa is a trendy full-service 4-star hotel set in the heart of downtown Ottawa. Located just steps to the Byward Market and the Rideau Canal, a short walk to the Parliament and across the street from the Rideau Shopping Centre- the leading shopping destination in the city which holds one of the few Nordstrom stores in Canada. The Novotel Ottawa is perfectly situated across from the Shaw Centre (Ottawa Convention Centre) and a short walk to the University of Ottawa.
Green Sustainability
Novotel signed a partnership agreement in July 2007 with Green Globe, the international environmental certification program for responsible travel and tourism.It is to this end that the Novotel Hotels in Montreal and Ottawa partnered with Brome-Missisquoi MRC. In 2009, the hotels launched a project aimed at fighting blue-green algae by planting vegetation along the banks of the Yamaska River.It is by committing to planting one tree for every reservation made on the Internet sites of these two hotels, that we are proud to announce that nearly 200,000 trees have been planted resulting in an improved environment including better quality of the drinking water for the residents of Brome-Missisquoi MRC.
