More than a hotel, a large comfortable house, the ancient Baldelli Palace, restored with due respect of the ancient architectural features and considered by the guides and the press a real "Condensed history of Cortona", the ministry of Art, has declared Hotel San Michele “National Monument”.
The hotel offers 42 rooms, each one different but all with ancient furniture and equipped with modern services and comforts.
Hotel San Michele is the most central accommodation of the town, a few steps from the main squares (location of the most important events), and the major attractions of Cortona: MAEC, Diocesan Museum, Signorelli Theatre. Conference Center Sant'Agostino is less than 100 meters from our Hotel. You can find the best restaurants few steps far from us. Hotel San Michele allows to its customer to arrive directly in the center of the town because it is the only one in Cortona to have a private garage or a parking place.
