The Lansdowne Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Eastbourne. Family-owned since 1912, we are located in a stunning seafront position, offering wonderful views across the beach and the South Coast.
Situated on the seafront, we have the perfect location for a hotel in Eastbourne; just a short walk from the pier, the Congress Theatre, the local art gallery and a range of other places to visit. Whether you're looking for a wedding venue in an elegant Victorian property, or somewhere to enjoy afternoon tea in the town centre, The Lansdowne Hotel in Eastbourne can accommodate you.

Located on Eastbourne's Seafront, with uninterrupted views of award-winning beaches and great transport links to Seven Sisters Country Park, Cuckmere Haven and the South Downs National Park to name just a few, The Lansdowne Hhotel is the perfect base for your next visit.
We have 98 bedrooms inclusive of 7 double bedded executive rooms, 3 superior rooms and a Junior Suite. We also have several family rooms available many of which are newly refurbished and can accommodate a family of 4.
Our 1912 Seafood & Steak Restaurant has been beautifully restored with a complete redecoration, new lighting, flooring, furniture and artworks. 1912 is located on the ground floor of the hotel and can be accessed through the hotel, or its new street-side entrance. It is a large airy relaxing space and offers breathtaking views over the sea, providing the perfect backdrop to any meal.
