We stopped in at the HI in Alexandria actually by accident. We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express because of the breakfasts. But we were traveling and needed a place so. .. . The staff was uniformly welcoming, efficient and friendly. The room as actually cleaner than most HIEs we have stayed at recently. And we were very well rested the next morning when we went on our way. A very pleasant and welcome suprise.

A full service hotel with a casual resort like atmosphere. 148 guest rooms all equipped with 32" flat screen tv, coffee makers, small refrigerators, microwaves and wireless internet access.
