We love coming here because it's in an area that we feel safe and the staff is courteous and professional, our rooms are clean, we are close to everything in proximity including the hospital and it has everything we need during our stays in Portland. Available, clean, safe, warm, cozy and welcoming to our family and our dog in snow, ice and power outage in Portland. Don't let the reasonable rates fool you. The decor is simple and the style isn't fancy, but I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world and never have I felt more welcomed, more cared for, had the phone more promptly answered, seen staff going about their business with more courtesy or kindness. The real deal.
