Remodel is looking very good. Breakfast needs to be taken back to your room as the dining area remodel is not finished. The access road to the property has numerous potholes. There is only one working ice machine on.

The employees are very hospitable and the hotel is being updated. Most rooms are done. Ours was very nice. Had a king size bed. I loved that the bathroom had all Dove products in pump bottles both in the shower and on the sink. If you forgot your own shampoo/conditioner/body soap/hand soap or lotion, no worries! Hotel is clean and comfortable. Has a great continental breakfast!

Property Description
Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Wilkes-Barre East located at Cross Creek Pointe Business Park. Located just off I-81 and with easy access to the Cross Valley Expressway (Route 309), Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-80 and I-380 and I-84. Situated at the top of Cross Creek Pointe the hotel offers spectacular views of Wilkes Barre and the surrounding region.
Recent renovations include a bright fresh open lobby with new furniture as well as new carpet and wallpaper on all the floors. 43" HDTVs have been installed in all guest rooms. Welcome table with refreshments and snacks is available in the lobby. New Indoor pool and whirlpool.
We offer complimentary full American breakfast, indoor pool and whirlpool, 24 hour fitness center and complimentary IHG Connect WiFi throughout hotel. We have 500 square feet of meeting space accommodating those small business meetings.
The hotel is centrally located with easy access to Geisinger Hospital, Commonwealth Hospital (Wilkes Barre General Hospital) Social Security Administration, CenterPoint Commerce and Trade Park, VA Medical Center and all major industrial parks: Hanover Industrial park, Grimes Industrial Park, Crestwood Industrial Park and East Mountain Corporate Center.
Mohegan Sun Casino is located less than one mile and the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service.
