The Inside Scoop by our Local Expert
Orlando is a town of many attractions. Not only does it house the great theme parks of Disney, it's also home to Sea World Orlando, a place where guests can enjoy themselves and learn about the sea and all of its marine inhabitants.
Sea World Orlando offers many different attractions to keep the whole family entertained, including its world-famous Shamu show (beware of the "Soak Zone!'"); Pets Ahoy!, a fun pet-trick performance; Penguin Encounter, Stingray Lagoon; and more. At designated times throughout the day, you can feed some of the animals, including the sea lions and the beloved dolphins, or dine next to a pool full of whales and other sea creatures while talking with Sea World trainers about the wonder of sea life.
In between shows, there are plenty of rides and other attractions to enjoy, including the Kraken, Orlando's fastest, longest, floorless rollercoaster; Journey to Atlantic, a combo water flume/rollercoaster; and the kid-friendly Shamu's Happy Harbor. Dining options are vast as well, and there's also a treat for brew lovers. Since Sea World Orlando is an Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park, guests can enjoy beer of all types as well as enjoy a personal viewing of Busch's Clydesdale horses.
Sea World Orlando is in close proximity to many hotels, so getting to Sea World can certainly be easy. Check these out as you're planning your trip to Sea World Orlando.
