The hotel has a boutique feel with nice touches. It's right on the beach and seems like most rooms would have a view. They have breakfast snacks, free bike rentals and firepits upstairs and downstairs. They also have access to water rentals for free. The pool is heated which is nice. Rooms are large and comfy and the property is pretty family friendly. The hotel is a short walk from restaurants and shops as well as Carlsbad beach. We would definitely stay again.

Property Description

Carlsbad's only hotel directly on the sand. Independent and family-owned, our 48 rooms offer oversized comfort with private balconies and panoramic ocean views. Our property features a heated Shorebreak Pool, direct access to our private beach and a deluxe Continental breakfast served each morning in our Ocean Lounge. Our boutique is located within charming Carlsbad Village in North San Diego County and features 70+ restaurants and shops within walking distance.

This meeting room is beautiful and has a full view of the Pacific Ocean. However, it is only available after 1:00 pm unless there is a whole hotel buy out. We have other meeting room options for groups less than 14 guests. The pictures attached are a meeting and a social event with rentals.

We specialize in small, intimate beachside events. Our space is limited in size, serving no more than 50 guests max. Because it serves as the location for our deluxe continental breakfast, this space is only available during the hours of 1p-9p. Clean up to begin no later than 8:30p. Typically, we require at least four room rentals in addition to the event space. Monday-Thursday rental rates: $400/hour + 3 hour minimum + room block. Friday-Sunday & holidays: $500 per hour + 4 hour minimum + room block. Catering and bar service vendors must be hotel-approved. Guests may not serve their own alcohol and bar service must be contracted through a licensed alcohol provider with TIPS certified bartenders.
