Bigfork is busiest during the summer months, but there's no bad time to visit. Spring and fall offer milder temperatures and fewer crowds, while winter brings opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, and other cold-season sports. Regardless of when you come, you'll be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere, stunning scenery, and excellent cafes and shops. The climate is simply unmatched for outdoor activities all year round. And the good news is that Glacier National Park, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state is just a short drive away. Apart from camping and sightseeing, there are a number of ranger-led programs available, which are a great way to learn about the park's history and ecology. The average temperature in Bigfork is a comfortable 70 degrees, with highs in the summer reaching into the low 80s and lows in the winter dipping into the mid-20s. There is very little humidity in the region, so the air feels refreshing and clean. This makes Bigfork a dream location for those who love to be outdoors, whether you're hiking, biking, kayaking, or just enjoying a picnic.

Great breakfast places (Echo Cafe and Pocketstone Cafe) and Flathead Brewing later in the day. There was a free top notch bluegrass concert at the Jewel Basin hall locally on Friday night I was in town. Enjoyed the area very much & hotel experience was fine as well.
We actually stayed in Kalispell. We drove to Bigfork for the play "Grease" and loved it. The city is quaint and has lots of interesting things and good restaurants.
