The Grande Colonial is a Four Diamond independent boutique hotel and a member of Historic Hotels of America, a Preferred Hotel Group. We're situated in the heart of the seaside La Jolla village with world-class beaches, shopping, art galleries, spas, golf and restaurants, all within walking distance! The world-renowned Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course, is only 10 minutes away! We are steps away from the ocean and 12 miles from downtown San Diego and the airport. We completed a $4 million historic restoration project of the adjacent Little Hotel by the Sea and Garden Terraces, adding 18 new luxurious suites to the hotel's existing 75-room inventory. Each of the suites feature full kitchens or kitchenettes, LCD high definition Televisions, and many with fireplaces. Additionally, the Grande Colonial invested $4 million in the guest room renovation of the main hotel in June 2008. Guests may enjoy amazing ocean views from their guestrooms!
