The hotel location is fantastic with shops, cafes and the canal all within walking distance. The canal was the best part. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My only negatives are the wait staff for breakfast was helpful but not friendly or welcoming. There were no smiles. I was also seated next to a table very close to two gentlemen discussing business. It was difficult to not overhear their conversation. Also the parking lot was being paved so was concerned about moving my car. No alternative parking options were provided. No one seem to know where to park the car.

Checked in a little before midnight. Walked in and no one was behind the desk. After a couple minutes the concierge slowly walks from a table after looking on her phone. Did not greet our group and was not friendly at all. None of us knew where the elevators were and she watched us walk to the wrong ones and did not think to say anything. Other than the rude service, the stay was nice.
