I cannot say enough about the excellence and professionalism extended from the staff during our stay with Hurricane Helene. The rooms were very clean. Every member of the staff was polite and had a smile on their face even though they were away from their families during a trying time. Hardly the nicest Marriott we've been to, but for the price it was a very good. Clean, nice room space, nice restaurant and bar, nice staff. However I have seen better room decor in a warehouse, or at least SOME room decor. For a Marriott Courtyard, it could have, should have, been a step up on the decor side.
