I visited the Hilton San Diego Airport / Harbor Island for a business meeting with the sales manager and director of sales. Since this meeting was more oriented towards strategy, I did not do a full tour of the property, but I did experience the lobby, staff, location, and was able to see a room. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from San Diego International Airport and the views of downtown and the nearby marina are beautiful. Every room has its own balcony, complete with furniture and exceptional views. The lobby was large, inviting and provided ample 'nooks' for guests to sit and read, work, and/or relax. Staff immediately greeted me upon entering, and I watched their interactions with guests while waiting for my meeting to start. The on-site restaurant and bar is where we held our meeting, and almost every employee working asked if I needed coffee or water. Their attention to customer service was second to none. Rooms are large and spacious with flat panel TVs, complimentary internet access and in-room bathrooms with tub and shower combination. Overall, this hotel delivers what you would expect from a hotel of this rating. The location is great, with several other restaurants within walking distance and downtown San Diego only a short drive away. And although the airport is very close by, you cannot hear the noise. In closing, I would certainly recommend this hotel for any type of traveler or group.

I visited this hotel for four nights during a business trip. The location and the views are absolutely beautiful. My only complaint was that the rooms were not updated and were very basic. However, the cost was great for the area. I would definitely stay again.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Facility is clean and well maintained. Room was well stocked and clean. M and M in the restaurant and bar was a wonderful bartender/ waiter. He made sure everything in my order was right and that we had plenty of condiments. He also made sure that our allergy restrictions were followed before letting me leave for the room.
