Port Royal Golf Course (considered by many to be the island's top public golf course) is located adjacent to the resort. Robinson's Marina (which offers deep sea and reef fishing, Boston Whaler powerboat and jet ski rentals and scuba diving excursions) is only a five minute drive from the resort. The island's south shore beaches (considered the best beaches on the island) are only a 12 to 15 minute drive from Pompano. The public bus and ferry system are very accessible from the resort. Pompano is approximately a 15 minute drive from the island's Royal Naval Dockyard (which features historical attractions, shopping, bars, restaurants and lots of water excursions).

Dramatically situated overlooking Bermuda's southwest coast, the 75 room, family owned and operated Pompano Beach Club is a tropical paradise - offering the personal attention of a boutique hotel and the amenities of a world class beach resort.The resort's breathtaking oceanfront setting, extensive recreational facilities, exceptionally high level of personal, caring service (the resort has been highly ranked by Trip Advisor's since 2005), gourmet cuisine, spacious oceanview accommodations and casual, relaxed atmosphere are why so many of their guests return to stay year after year!Pompano's spectacular shallow waterfront is the only one of its kind in Bermuda, attracting beachgoers, snorkelers, watersports enthusiasts and swimmers of all ages and abilities. At low tide, guests can wade out over 400 yards in knee to chest deep water, to reach the shallow coral reefs which line the edge of the sandbar. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent on a year-round basis and the resort's seasonal watersports center rents kayaks, paddleboards and other aquatic devices to help everyone enjoy the crystal clear waters in front of the resort. Pompano attracts a lot of golfers because the Robert Trent Jones designed Port Royal Golf Course - Bermuda's most popular public course and the home of the PGA Tour's Bermuda Championship event every fall - is right next door!The resort has several different rate categories, with their top of the line, oceanfront deluxe rooms being the room type they have the most of (37 deluxe rooms in total). As far as meeting space goes, the resort has a private, oceanfront meeting room that they use from September through April - large enough to hold 20 people in a board room format. The resort typically does not host groups consisting of ten rooms or more from mid-May through Labor Day weekend due to the extremely busy nature of this time period.
