Welcome to Cleveland
Cleveland is home to about 390,000 proud residents, making it the most populated city in the state. It extends 31 miles along the south shore of Lake Erie near the mouth of the Cuyahoga River, which gives the city a four-season climate. Summer temperatures peak in the 80s and fall temperatures drop as low as the 20s. When it comes to city hot spots, most out-of-towners only know about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Cleveland has tons more, from family-friendly attractions to sports games to top artistic endeavors.
To get around the city, you can take Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, which offers rail, bus, healthline and trolley services. Hop on at any stop to connect with dozens of destinations across Cleveland. For business travelers who have to drive around town, it's helpful to know that Cleveland is situated at the intersection of several Interstate highways: I-77, I-71 and I-90. Ohio Route 2 follows the lake Erie shoreline while I-80 (Ohio Turnpike) and I-480 run east/west of the city.
