The building was erected back in 1884 and was originally used as a tea warehouse; it was later converted for use as a print works and in use until 1965. Since then, it has had a variety of uses the lower floor became a focal point for Liverpool’s Punk and new wave scene. The 1st floor housed acclaimed local band OMD’s recording studio in the early 80’s. Today it has had a £5 Million restoration to it’s former glory which will offers an exciting hotel.Each floor has it’s own distinctive identity but the philosophy has been the same throughout the building. Original elegance has been restored and preserved; the unique 300-year old American beams have been exposed to highlight this fantastic period building. High quality materials have been used throughout to create spaces that are very contemporary and extremely comfortable.We offer accommodation for singles, couples and groups up to 30 people.
