"Getaway Oasis With Amazing Food!"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
My husband and I are from Chicago and we attended a wedding in Temecula so we stood at the Pala Casino and Spa Resort. I can’t even pick what part of the resort was my favorite, but we got to spend time in the pool (Kyle was the best), ate at mostly all the restaurants and of course gambled! Pala Cafe’s food was amazing, we loved their breakfast! Our room was amazing! I can’t wait to go back!

"Great amenities, food and rooms."
Overall Score5.0/ 5
We stayed here while attending a wedding in Pala. The rooms were clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed the pools and the service at the pools was awesome. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was enjoyed by all. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Pala.

"Need Better accommodations."
Overall Score1.0/ 5
The hotel itself is beautiful, but the amenities were not useful for our stay and the staff was not accommodating. We came with our baseball team for 6 days/5 nights. We had no choice in this hotel as it was on the list of places we must stay at for the tournament. Kids are not allowed in the pool, nor or they allowed past the gate, which means I (the adult) could not enjoy the pool either. This hotel costs a lot of money, so not being able to use the facility pool is extremely frustrating considering part of the cost to stay covers the amenities. The WiFi did not work properly and when asking staff about it, they were not helpful. I had work to complete online and was not able to because of the Internet connection. There is not an area for guests to use to plug laptops in for Internet use. My son got sick while there and the only option for medicine was a vending machine there is not a market/convenience type stand to purchase Tylenol or toiletry items. While there is a casino attached to the hotel, my teenage children were not able to meet their baseball team in the lobby without an adult, they were stopped getting off the elevator. My issue is that they were meeting other adults in the lobby, so they should not need me to be present to ride an elevator. There is not a laundry area, so plan to use the laundry mat down the road. Overall, for what I paid, I expected much more and won’t be returning for a future stay.

Green Sustainability
Planet Pala – “Thinking Globally, but Acting Locally”Engendered by the Pala Band of Mission Indians tradition and culture of preserving the environment, in July 2008 Pala Casino Spa & Resort initiated Planet Pala, a green program committed to environmental preservation, the efficient use of energy and resources and the improvement of life in the community. An initiative that started as an internal effort to recycle and save now touches humankind on an international stage.Recognizing the world’s significant environmental challenges, Planet Pala involves hotel and casino guests, team members, management and vendors as environmental stewards in the implementation of sustainable, earth-friendly operational programs, including the conservation of water and energy, the use of eco-friendly products, recycling and community outreach. The entire program is funded by revenue generated from the sale of recycled materials. Also in 2008, the Pala Band of Mission Indians opened the Pala Transfer Station and Recycling Center on the reservation. In addition to handling all recycling for the hotel/casino, the Transfer Station serves the public. Since the opening of the Transfer Station and the initiation of the Planet Pala program, an average of 309 tons of waste per year is recycled and diverted from land fills.By expanding existing green processes and implementing easier, low-cost opportunities, Planet Pala was able to initiate a green culture throughout the entire hotel/casino very quickly.
