Property Description
Named after an Alpine Flower, the Blue Gentian Lodge is situated in 'the heart of ski country', just a short drive to Bromley, Stratton & Okemo, and walking distance to the lifts at Magic Mountain. For the cross country ski enthusiast, both Viking Nordic Center and Wild-Wings X-C are just a few miles away. This owner operated 13 room European Style Ski Lodge has a newly renovated common area with fireplace, a recreation/conference room and a dining room that can accommodate 35 people. A complimentary Breakfast is served each morning for overnight guests. Private dining options for groups of 10 or more can be arranged by reservation only. There is an outdoor hot tubs (for adults only) in winter, and an outdoor pool with cabana/screen house in summer. An added bonus in winter, (conditions permitting) is an ice skating pond. An evening skate on a starry evening is absolutely Magical.Your hosts, Lisa and Ken have been Innkeepers here since 1994. We encourage our guests to relax and take a tour of the property. The flower gardens are irresistible, we've even got some Gentian growing out back. While you're out there, don't forget to take a photo of our beloved 'pet' Swans,.... a bit hit with the locals and tourist alike. We use the herbs and vegetables we grow on the property for meals as well as sourcing meats, dairy & fruits from nearby farms. Our breakfast and dinner menus change seasonally. We would be more than happy to help with your travel arrangements.
