It's a small inn with just six guestrooms featuring flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi‑Fi, an on-site restaurant and bar, a terrace and daily housekeeping; it's pet-friendly (GBP 20 per pet, service animals exempt) and offers fishing nearby, wheelchair-accessible facilities (may have limitations) and is within about a 15-minute drive of local attractions.
We stayed in the external ground floor room, which was lovely. Spacious room with a very comfortable, super king bed. The floors are tiled, so great if your pooch is travelling with you. This is a lovely part of Yorkshire, convenient to visit York, or as a base to go walking/hiking in the Yorkshire Dales or North Yorkshire Moors.
