Fernie Slopeside Lodge offers ski-in/ski-out access, making it convenient for guests who want to hit the slopes. Additionally, the hotel is located near Fernie Alpine Resort and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.
Slopeside is great, stay again anytime. Evening and morning facilities lacking. Only one place for breakfast. Cirque is nice but far removed from Slopeside and felt too formal for a quick breakfast before skiing. No evening pub with the closure of the Pub at The Griz Inn. Basically eat supper and back to your room unless you drive to Town. No Ski Village Vibe, kind of dead. Stayed at Slopeside one Christmas and the decsion have been made to close the Cirqe for an ERxclusive function and there was no were else to have DInne that evening. In the Town onlt the Bridge Bistro was open for a Christmas meal. Will not ever consider Fernie for Christmas! I am not a hide in my Condo type of tourist.
