From the moment we arrived, one member of staff completely transformed our experience – Helen. She went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Not only was she incredibly helpful and professional, but she also brought an energy that was simply infectious. Warm, chirpy, genuinely funny and an absolute joy to talk to – Helen made us feel right at home from the get go. We were new to the area and unsure of where to go, but Helen took the time to give us detailed directions and fantastic local recommendations for a range of spots. Nothing was too much trouble and she approached every request with a smile and a spark that made all the difference. The rooms themselves were spotless – clean, comfortable and well looked after – but what really elevated our stay was the human touch. Sometimes in life, it’s not just about a friendly face; it’s about connection. That kind of meaningful interaction is rare these days and with Helen, it felt natural and effortless. We weren't the only ones who noticed – other guests seemed equally uplifted by her presence. She’s a real asset to the team and honestly, the kind of person who makes a great stay unforgettable. The hotel is in a very close proximity from the NEC, the staff was very polite and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. On my last day, when I got downstairs to grab some breakfast, at 10:20, everything was already cleaned up and there was nothing except for a coffee, although it is said that BF is served till 11 o’clock which means they should start clearing up after that time. Another reason not to give them 5/5 is that the noice when cleaning neighboring rooms or downstairs while guests are having BF or coffee, the noise is deafening! It just makes you run away. They don’t really care that you are there and maybe would prefer to drink your coffee in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Stayed for one night on my birthday to attend a nearby concert. Room clean, breakfast great and staff friendly and helpful. I fell ill and staff accommodated a late check out without any hassle. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Perfect location for airport and NEC.
