Discount airfares
Airlines typically provide discounts of 5% - 10% off of their lowest published fares for leisure groups of 10 or more, even if you are not traveling together. For association or company meetings, domestic zone-fare discounts range from 40% to 70% off full, unrestricted coach rates and do not require a Saturday night stay.
Limited down payment
Depending on the specific airline booked, a limited down payment (10% - 20%) is usually required to hold the group reservation. Full payment is not required until shortly before the departure date -- usually 30 days before departure. In the majority of cases, the down payment is refundable if the trip is cancelled 30 days or more before departure. Kindly refer to the specific airline’s rules for confirmation of this.
Name changes permitted
As groups require more flexibility, airlines usually permit free name changes prior to the departure date. This can be a significant advantage for any group.
