The summers on the east coast of Florida can be warm with average temperatures reaching 90 from May through September. However, it's not the heat that makes the summers uncomfortable. In September, for example, Sebastian sees approximately nine inches of rain which can make 90 degrees feel very hot and humid.
Even during the winters, the high temperatures in this area of Florida rarely reach over 70 and see much less rain. The lows stay in the 50s which makes for beautiful, cool nights to explore the beachfront and enjoy some of the many restaurants around town. With such mild winters, Sebastian is a popular destination for snowbirds or those who are escaping the harsh, cold winters up north for a warmer vacation in the tropical climate of Florida.

Ok. Good restaurants.
Shops, restaurants, fishing!
We have never been on the ocean side of Florida and thought we would try a smaller town. We ate at Sandy's Grill and the food was good, a local hangout but very nice.
