The Ronks center point is approximately the area of Waters Edge Mini Golf and 1 mile southwest of Amish Country.
The best weather in Ronks is in the summer months from June to August. Temperatures are warm but not too hot, so it's still easy to enjoy days outside without being uncomfortable. These months do have the highest chance of rain, but it is fairly irregular, so it shouldn't wash out your entire trip. Visiting during these popular months will mean that you pay a little more for your hotel and that the tourist attractions are busier, so be sure to shop around and book in advance.
Spring is also a good time to visit, particularly in May when the weather has started to warm up. Attractions are all open but slightly less busy than in the summer, and you will find better deals on hotels. In fall and winter, September through February, the weather is cold and it often rains or snows. Hotel rates will be affordable around these times so you can get a good deal if you don't mind the weather, but some of the tourist attractions may be closed.

The Amish Village is a 12-acre authentic experience where you can learn about today's Amish lifestyle. The culture has changed very little in the last 300 years, and the village is the perfect way to learn more.
Take a 25-minute guided tour of the authentic 1840 Amish farmhouse while hearing stories of Amish history, lifestyle, and traditions. You can then wander around and explore the village, which includes a blacksmith shop, a smokehouse, and a barn with farm animals. The village has a one-room schoolhouse, and in the summer season you can meet with a real Amish teacher and find out more about their education.
If your curiosity isn't satisfied with just the village, you can take a 90-minute narrated bus tour around the surrounding Amish farmland. Go off the beaten track and experience real Amish life. You'll travel down country roads and see farmers at work and buggies riding by, all while listening to information from the knowledgeable guide about Amish customs, beliefs, and traditions. The bus tour stops off at a quilt shop, a pretzel bakery, and a real Amish home so you can see for yourself how the community lives.
For an even more authentic experience, AAA Buggy Rides in nearby Kitchen Kettle Village offers several horse-drawn buggy rides and tours through the Amish communities and farms of Lancaster County. This is an inexpensive and unique experience, especially for kids, who are welcomed with discount prices.
