The North Miami Beach center is around 1 mile northwest of Oleta River State Park.
The state of Florida is known for being a place that people prefer in winter because of the hot summers, and North Miami Beach is no exception to that perception. Its hottest months are in June, July, and August with temperatures reaching close to 90 degrees Fahrenheit on a daily basis with no relief in sight until the end of September. The best months to visit are March, April, and May with temps that are in the high 70s and low 80s. Of course, everyone else flocks to Florida during this time, so be prepared to book a hotel room well in advance to guarantee yourself a place to stay.

But you might find yourself looking at a piece of furniture that once graced the home of European royalty. You'll also want to stop at C. Madeleine's for designer resale at its finest. And if you're in the mood to look at art, head over to the Museum of Contemporary Art to check out the latest exhibition by an up-and-coming contemporary artist.
Disney doesn't have a presence in North Miami Beach, but you'll swear it does after you visit Enchanted Forest Park. This 22-acre park is full of native flora and fauna that you can view from foot or by horseback. The trail system takes you around the park and its beauty makes you wonder if you didn't step into a movie. And if you have the time, take out a kayak in Oleta River State Park. Paddle around the river that runs through the park or head over to Biscayne Bay to view the city from the water.
