Despite its small size, Niwot is home to a number of historical landmarks and interesting sites. For art lovers, there's Arpana Aneesha Studio. They are all about weaving and offer a variety of services, including art classes, workshops, and exhibitions. Since 1977, Aneesha Parrone has been a fiber artist. She was selected by the North Carolina Arts Council as a Third Century Artist and studied weaving at Barton College. For a more active time outside check out Niwot Loop Trail Trailhead which is located on the east side of Niwot Road, just north of the town of Niwot. There is a large parking lot, restrooms, and a water fountain. The Niwot Loop Trail is a 3.4-mile loop trail that takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery in the area.
