Below are reviews of the city of Irmo, SC from an actual visitor's perspective.
I didn't really get to see much of the city, but the hotel is very conveniently located with everything you need right in the vicinity.
Enjoyed touring historic places and the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Location is great. There is a Starbucks close by!
Very nice.
Shopping at the mall!
We were here to visit family but enjoyed shopping at Columbiana Mall. Eating out is fun because the options are so extensive.
Rooms are spacious and clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good and TV selection is varied. We were here to visit family but enjoyed shopping at Columbiana Mall. Eating out is fun because the options are so extensive.
The hotel has excellent access to the Harbison shopping area and Columbia's only mall shopping; you do not have to drive on traffic congested Harbison Boulevard. The best thing about Irmo is Rush's Hamburgers. They make a fabulous chili cheeseburger basket; the slaw dog is a must-have, and nobody puts together a banana split as well as Rush's. I have detoured from I-95 or I-85 when traveling to slip by Rush's for a slaw dog basket and a banana split. In addition, Maurice's BBQ is on Highway 60 in Irmo. If you like mustard-based BBQ or steamed rice and BBQ hash, then you should enjoy the BBQ. Finally, Lizard's Thicket is a homestyle restaurant close to the hotel with excellent food.
A mall was close by.
Bistro Restaurant was very good.
