Since Hicksville has four distinct seasons, deciding on the right time to go depends entirely on your priorities. If you want to enjoy your time outside, summer is the best season. From June to August, Hicksville sees average high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. While this weather makes summer the ideal time to get out to the parks and festivals, keep in mind that it's also the most popular time to visit Hicksville, so it's hard to find any hotel deals during this season.
When fall rolls around to Hicksville, temperatures start dropping and the summer crowds begin to go home. While average highs in September start out in the mid-70s, by November they've dropped to the mid-50s. As a result, hotels will start lowering rates during fall. If you plan a visit during this season, you'll enjoy some lovely leaf colors on the trees.
For the best hotel rates of the year, you'll want to plan your visit to Hicksville in the winter. However, you'll also want to pack warm clothes, since the area sees average highs in the 30s and 40s and between 4 and 8 inches of snowfall a month from December to February. While the weather in Hicksville during winter isn't ideal for many outdoor activities, you'll find most of the indoor attractions do stay open during the season.
Spring brings the return of mild weather to Hicksville. Although average highs in March are in the upper 40s, by May they've climbed into the upper 60s. As a result, late spring is a good time to plan a visit. You can enjoy more activities outside, but hotels haven't started raising prices for summer crowds yet. Just keep in mind that spring is the rainy season, so you might need to pack a raincoat.

Hotel is located in the heart of it all!
