The Fountain that gives the town its name operates year-round and on a regular schedule. It's capable of reaching 560 feet when running at full strength, but this only happens on special occasions. The fountain reaches a height of 330 feet for daily viewing and is run at the top of every hour between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for 15 minutes, seven days a week. Catch the fountain at its full height on Fourth of July, St. Patrick's Day when the water is dyed green, and the Fountain Hills Anniversary of Incorporation held annually on December 5.

We love Fountain Hills. Perfect place to walk around with all the sculptures and cactus. Plenty of good restaurants. East to get to the Salt River Fields.
The location is amazing. Everything is here. The fountain and the Irish Festival were out of this world.
