Level, clean downtown area made the visit pleasant.
They have a skating rink, a Fox's pizza place and bowling alley. Great view of mountains. Close to interstate but far enough away from the noise.
Elkins is a lovely town with plenty to do and friendly people.

WV Forest Festival Parade - traditional and heartwarming. Took me back. City has everything you need for good life especially the people. Friendly and take time to converse. Unusual in today's world IMHO.

We enjoyed our train ride and visiting the Delmont Market/gift shop! Everyone we met there was friendly and kind, and they have the best ice cream! We also enjoyed dining at the Forks Inn!
Elkins is a perfect location as a home base for some great motorcycling.
