The Chanhassen center point is approximately 1 mile east of Paisley Park and 2 miles west of Eden Prairie. MN.
There really isn't a bad time to visit Chanhassen. The city experiences all four seasons with comfortable summer temperatures, a beautiful spring season, vibrant and colorful autumn, and story-book white winters. No matter what time of year you visit, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views and plenty of things to experience.
Because summer is the most popular tourist season in most locations, peak months between June and August are when it may be hardest to get a great deal on a hotel. Summer rates are higher as well, so it's important to book as early as possible to get the best available price. The colder winter months of November through February will offer the best pricing on hotels, but even in this case, it can help to book early for even better prices.
Spring and autumn months may be among the best times to visit, with temperatures that are not too hot and not too cold. Also, because summer tourism is not in full swing during these months, hotel rates tend to be lower than in warmer months. These can also be among the most beautiful times to take in all of the nature and rustic beauty Chanhassen has to offer.
Whether you choose to stay in a luxury hotel or opt for one of Chanhassen's more luxurious options, you can save even more money on your trip if you know how to identify and take advantages of discounts. A few hotels offer free passes to things like fitness centers, which can be a great way to get more bang for your buck during your stay — but that's not the only way you can save money.
If you're a AAA subscriber, Holiday Inn Express, AmericInn Chanhassen, and Country Inn & Suites all offer attractive discounts, up to 15 percent. Other great hotels that offer AAA discounts include the Hyatt Regency, Hampton Inn, and the Hilton Minneapolis. AAA members should have no problem finding great rates at a number of hotels located throughout the city.
The Chanhassen Inn is a great affordable option to consider and is located within walking distance of some great shopping venues. It's just one block from Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and a few miles from Lake Minnetonka, Mystic Lake Casino, and many other popular attractions.
Chanhassen Inn offers an impressive number of amenities included in their affordable rates, such as free high-speed internet, complimentary breakfast in the lobby, public computers, and much more. Chanhassen Inn is as close as you can get to staying in a luxury hotel without paying luxury prices.
Another great, affordable option is AmericInn Chanhassen. This hotel has beautiful rooms for the price, many of which include a relaxing whirlpool bathtub, plenty of floor space, and a seating area. AmericInn Chanhassen aims to make you as comfortable as possible during your stay without breaking the bank and offers a number of complimentary amenities like an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. They even offer free passes to a nearby fitness center and have a business center on site.
AmericInn Chanhassen is within walking distance to the local beach and offers easy access to other attractions, such as a nearby golf course and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. This is a wonderful choice for couples who need an affordable getaway.
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. Offering live performances and appetizing menu options, theatre always has something new to experience and is especially popular among theatre buffs.
For live entertainment of a different flavor, be sure to check out Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret. Here you can enjoy improv and acting classes. If you're interested in learning some of the basics involved with improv acting, you can visit as a patron and enjoy the unpredictable comedy the venue's local talent has to offer. You never quite know what to expect here, so be prepared for a lot of laughs and surprises.
Golfers will love the wide variety of courses the area has to offer. There are far too many choices to list here, but one of the best local golf courses is Halla Greens Executive Golf Course & Driving Club. Meanwhile, gun enthusiasts simply must stop by to see what the Stock and Barrel Gun Club has to offer. You won't be sorry!

Chanhassen Dinner Theater never disappoints! Good food, great production.
I liked having easy access to the area and the airport. The hotel was near my family and was convenient. Aside from the wedding, we are visiting the Mall of America, Can Can Wonderland and The Forge (a tabletop and card gaming store). I hope to try some area restaurants!
Nice selection of stores and chain restaurants. Hiking and biking on local trails is a plus.

It was easy to access off of Highway 5. Loved the area surrounding the hotel. All kinds of shops and services. The country surrounding Chanhassen is gorgeous and would be fun to make a return trip to check out nearby wineries, lakes, farmers markets and shops. Beautiful countryside!
