Buxton and the Island itself is wonderful. I had stayed in another Motel that happened to be doing some renovations. Even on off season it's still a great place to go and I will go again and enjoy family and all the great places to see

We ate lunch at Buxton Munch Company which gets 5 stars for an awesome French Dip sandwich and great service. Across the street from the hotel was a small dining place with lots of Hersey ice cream flavors that made choosing difficult.

Beach access with free parking. The Diamond Shoals restaurant is great. Great sunrises and sunsets and some wind if you need it.
