We really enjoy the historic city of Apalachicola, especially the views of Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. We enjoyed the seafood restaurants and the shops. It is also enjoyable to have a leisurely few days to unwind and read a good book. The people are very friendly there also.
Quiet, historical, hometown feel, not too commercialized, great food and friendly people.
Great food and very nice shops.
Great food and very nice shops!
The only comment I can make is that it is a very friendly town. Every resident we encountered and the hotel staff were sweet and helpful. The town was mostly closed down for Christmas which is part of its charm. I suspect it is very busy in the summertime.
Up The Creek Restaurant was really good with a view of the bay that is unbelievable!!
We were there for the Oyster Cook off. Had a great time. Apalachicola is a beautiful with wonderful shops and restaurants. Plan to go back.
This city is great for shopping and eating! If you love dive bars, go to to High Five Dive bar, veteran owned, live music!
It was a lovely old town. We liked everything from the style of building, the view, restaurants and shopping
Enjoyed my stay very much.
