Below are reviews of the city of Longmont, CO from an actual visitor's perspective.
Friendly , and clean affordable
Longmont is a darling town full of wonderful restaurants, cute shops, and appears to have a vibrant arts scene. I enjoyed all the public art that is peppered along main street, and the mixture of modern amenities and old-town charm. The close proximity to the Rocky Mountains makes for a beautiful backdrop to the town, and the closeness to said mountains also makes it very easy to take a trip into more secluded areas for hiking or wildlife watching. I was impressed with how easy I found it to navigate around the town, and how well the layout is in terms of keeping traffic issues to a minimum.

I go to Longmont to get a few golfing sessions. While I am there I usually enjoy dinner out and shop a bit at Sprouts. I haven't spent a lot of time there but people seem friendly.
