Didn't get to see much of Charleston. Had to leave early in the morning to catch the Carnival cruise ship. Appeared to be a pretty and historical looking city. Friendly people.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Daniel Island. Our group (24) had our family reunion banquet right next door at The Islander. Great food and service! Location is ideal and easy access to HWY 17 and Interstate 26. Beautiful spot.

We had a chance to be in the historical downtown area, especially Meeting Street, where we visited the historical Mother Emanual AME church. Love the various dinning places as well as the different sites to view and take snap shots of different locals.
