Below are reviews of the city of Fort Macleod, AB from an actual visitor's perspective.
Salt Lake City is a beautiful city. We spent our first day and part of the second day exploring the city on foot. The hotel is conveniently located downtown near the Temple Square and not far from the State Capital (Temple Square is about a mile from the hotel and the Capital building is on top of a hill just under 2 miles from the hotel - we enjoy walking but you can drive to both as well). There was no charge to visit the buildings in the Temple Square area and the volunteer guides were very helpful and happy to show people around and answer questions even for non-Mormons like us. The second day we visited the Great Salt Lake. There is a $3 charge for entrance to the State Park by the Salt Lake and the gnats and other bugs on the beach can be annoying. Overall we spent a pleasant day and a half exploring the city before continuing on our trip.
