Mt. Pleasant has all the conveniences of a suburb yet not too far from the airport. Most important is the proximity to a lovely beach, restaurants on the water, and boat to Ft. Sumter.

Nice area to stay outside the hustle and bustle of tourism in downtown Charleston. The eateries in Mt. Pleasant are great options to driving back across the bridge to downtown Charleston and having to deal with the parking challenges. Shopping centers are easy to access from hotels in Mt. Pleasant
Easy access to everything in and around the area. We believe we needed more time to explore amenities and restaurants of Mt Pleasant and hope to again in the near future.
We were there for a wedding. Rehearsal dinner was at Waters Edge. The food was wonderful. The reception was held at the Red Drum. I would suggest it to all.
There was a lot to see in Mount Pleasant. We went to a Boone Hall Plantation that was easy to get to and was so well worth the visit. The beach was nearby which was enjoyable. There were other places of interest to visit if we had the time but we were there for a wedding and only stayed a few days. There were many eateries around and across the road from the hotel was a pretty big shopping mall.
It is very easy to get to the beach or downtown Charleston. Close to many attractions.
