The Midlothian center point is around 3 miles west of Ecpi Technical College and 5 miles west of Mc Cool's of Bon Air.
Since Midlothian experiences all four seasons, choosing the right time to visit is key. If you're traveling to the village to explore the area, or making a side trip to the beach is important, the summer months of June through August are the best times to come. During these months, the average high temperature is in the upper 80s, and all outdoor attractions are open. However, since this is a popular time to visit, you'll also have to deal with crowds and higher hotel rates.
On the other hand, if you can plan a trip during the spring or fall, you can enjoy lower hotel rates and less crowds at the popular attractions. The months of March through May see average high temperatures in the 60s and 70s, but with a few more rain showers then you'll typically get in the summer. While the months of September through November also have average highs in the 60s and 70s, rain isn't as likely. During these fall months, you can also enjoy the bursts of color from the changing leaves.
If you're truly looking for a good hotel deal, consider visiting between December and February. With average high temperatures rarely getting out of the 40s, and average lows in the 20s and 30s, these months are definitely off-tourist season in Midlothian. While an average snowfall of 2 or 3 inches each month may sometimes prevent you from doing much exploring outside, many indoor attractions still remain open during these months, so you can always find something to do.

Front turf fields are amazing! The only thing that would make it better was if the area near the washrooms had shelter and tables for inclement weather.
