When March rolls around, spring also arrives in Palmyra. This season starts out with average highs in the mid-40s, and by May sees temperatures in the low 70s. Below are reviews of the city of Palmyra, PA from an actual visitor's perspective.
Very good shopping and restaurants.
Convenient to restaurants and close to Hershey show.
20 minutes from Hershey Park and an hour from Gettysburg. Very easy to navigate around.
Restaurant selection all within 10 mins is great! Team enjoyed the arcade and Lazerdome.
Hershey's Chocolate World is great. Lots of family activities even in cold weather. In The Net sports facility is a good place for softball indoors. Bring cash, though--their snack bar is pricey.
I organized a big team dinner for 35 people at Fire Alley (in Hershey) which was about 10 minutes from In The Net in Palmyra. I emailed the restaurant pre-orders for our meals and they were able to get all of the orders out within about 5 minutes of each other. The food was fantastic and the service great for our large group. We would definitely go back!
Going from city to city is easy, Hershey is very close!
