Franciscan University. Mass at 8 PM at Christ King. The ice skating rink was nice. The mural to Dean Martin outside the grocery store. The closeness to Pittsburgh. The quaintness of the homes and neighborhoods. The mall.

Steubenville is a great town. Franciscan University, the murals and history downtown, the bridges and river, all nice.
My dad was originally from there, his family stayed in Steubenville while he moved to Cleveland for college after WW II, so I am familiar. Easy to get around, nice restaurants, even sheriff's deputies were very helpful when I had business at the courthouse.
We were there for the Nutcracker Village experience and it was cute. We stopped at Leonardo's coffeehouse downtown and had a nice cup of coffee. Coming from a large metropolitan area ( Detroit), the whole downtown area was quaint.

Close to concert venue
We were in the area to see a concert at the Pavilion at Star Lake which is a great venue!
Steubenville is charming! I had a great dinner at Naples. Cool history!

The Franciscan University of Steubenville is like a shining diamond on the hill. It's holy ground and a powerhouse of Dynamic Catholic Orthodoxy.
Beautiful river and wooded hills.
Very close to Steubenville Campus for Mass service and the community of people are friendly and kind.
Fort Steuben, Union Cemetery, Leonards, Nutcrackers, Nelsons, and overall setting.
