Near the airport
Notre Dame is gorgeous, especially the grotto and basilica!
I went to school here from 1960 to 1965 The downtown has been restored, replaced and renewed. It's a good destination for a weekend getaway.

We were in town for a youth soccer tournament, we ventured out to the downtown for dinner. We fell upon Howard Park and my children had a lot of fun there. My husband and I both liked how state of the art and clean it was. We are considering coming in the Winter to try the ice skating out.

Our granddaughter was playing hockey so we did not see much. However, Notre Dame was an amazing complex to visit.

I traveled to South Bend to see a show at the Morris Performing Arts Center. I was very impressed by the venue! The staff were friendly and helpful and the architecture was stunning! I would absolutely travel three hours again to see another show there! I had such a wonderful time!

Notre Dame University is breathtaking, so expansive and well kept. The outdoor city skating parks are amazing! Shopping and dining is great.

Very close to Notre Dame and surrounding area. Hotel felt safe and I was not concerned about car theft.

We were there for a wedding but we did go into town and saw the St. Joe rapids and watch the firemen do rescue training. Very interesting.

The universities! We were able to visit both St. Mary's and Notre Dame in one day and were able to get an inexpensive experience for our students.
