The best time to visit Findlay is in late spring when all the college students have gone home and the city hasn't quite hit the summer tourist season. Being so close to Toledo, many visitors staying in Findlay also like to explore the Toledo Botanical Garden, the Toledo Zoo, and other attractions. Since local schools are still in session during late spring, you won't encounter as many local families waiting in line at these popular attractions.

Findlay has revitalized the downtown! There are many cute restaurants now: a quiche place, an Italian restaurant, an Irish pub, a new downtown hotel, etc. Of course we always enjoy going to Dietsch's, the famous ice cream and chocolate candy shop.
It has everything close by. Nice town
We were only there a short time. Used to live in Bowling Green and enjoyed driving to Findlay for dinner and movies.
