Easy to get around - much to do and see!
Great food and shops in Falmouth. Booked a fishing charter with captain Eric. Best fishing experience ever! We caught so many fish, my arms were weak from reeling the stripers in.
So much to see, shop and eat.
We live in Falmouth, so have tried all of these places. For exercise/biking, the Shining Sea Bikeway is wonderful. There are bike rental shops in Falmouth at Queens Buyway. For Mexican food, Anejo on Main Street cannot be beat. LaCucina restaurant on Main Street is delicious for Italian food. Main Street has many cute shops with interesting gifts and such. If you have a sweet tooth, Shelf's candies on Main Street has candy and ice cream. Smithy's Ice Cream is awesome, in East Falmouth. Cape Cod Bagel has great bagels and breakfast/lunch fare and is just down the street from the hotel. For beaches, Old Silver beach in West Falmouth is wonderful but can get very crowded in the summer so go early. There are also great sunsets there year round. And finally, in West Falmouth, the West Falmouth market has good sandwiches, food, baked goods and has BBQ outside on Thursday nights by Wally. Enjoy Falmouth - a great place!!
Falmouth has the Cape and Island charm. Great experience.
