The Green Bay center point is about the area of Neville Public Museum and the area of Children's Museum Green Bay.
Weather-wise, spring is undoubtedly the best time to visit Green Bay. The beautiful weather offers the opportunity to reconnect with nature and take advantage of all the outdoor adventures in Green Bay. Winters can be very harsh in Wisconsin, while the summers tend to be hot and humid. Fall also offers beautiful weather as well, although it tends to be warmer and more enjoyable in the spring.
During the fall, you can take advantage of Green Bay's favorite pastime by getting tickets to see the Packers play. Grab your foam cheesehead hat and see what all the fuss is about by checking out a game in Lambeau Stadium. Unfortunately, you will pay a premium for hotels during this time, but it's worth it to get to experience the atmosphere of a Packer's Game Day.
The most affordable time to visit Green Bay is during the winter when the hotel prices are at their lowest. Although the frigid temperatures will likely keep you indoors, you can take the opportunity to visit the restaurants and museums that Green Bay has to offer. If you are brave enough to head outside, you could try snowshoeing to experience the snowy weather.
Use your AAA discount at the Hampton Inn Downtown Green Bay. This hotel puts you right in the middle of all the action sitting on the Fox River in Downtown Green Bay. Browse the free internet while you enjoy the room service offered in the hotel. If you need to get some work done, the hotel also has a business center on-site.

If you want to get some fresh air and enjoy some history, head to Heritage Hill State Park. With almost 50 acres of green space, this park offers a look back at the olden days of Green Bay. Heritage Village has over 25 restored buildings going back to the 1600s, including a fur trader cabin from the 1800s.
If you're coming to Green Bay with the kids, they will love spending the day at the Bay Beach Amusement Park. Sitting on the mouth of the Fox River, the park has some of the best roller coasters in Wisconsin. It dates back to the late 1800s, although it has reinvented itself over time.
The amusement park is adjacent to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, which is another great place to take the kids. Although it was initially meant to be a golf course, it was instead turned into the sanctuary through almost $2 million in donations. It is the second biggest sanctuary in Wisconsin and has hiking trails, an education center, and wildlife habitats.
Although there are a lot of things to do in Green Bay, for residents, it's all about the football. This small city takes its NFL football very seriously. Check out the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Museum that highlights some of the best players that donned the Green Bay uniform. Afterward, enjoy dinner and drinks at 1919 Kitchen & Tap.
If you're in town during the late summer through fall, then you need to experience tailgating and a football game at Lambeau Stadium. This stadium is the longest continually occupied stadium in the entire NFL. Although it has had its share of renovations, the Packers have maintained its original shape and preserved the authenticity of the stadium, which is why fans still love the experience of a live game so much.
Green Bay is best known for its football, but even if you're not a sports fan, you can find plenty of things to do with all types of hotels for a stay on any budget.
While most visitors to Green Bay might be stopping over just to catch a game of NFL, they would no doubt prefer to stay in a cheap hotel.
